Famous Brands
These are the TOP brands that make us say their brand name (even we didn't buy their products)
1. Liquid paper - It's popular in school. If you are running out of your correction pen, you will definitely say "Can I borrow you Liquid Paper?"
2. Maggi - even IF you bought other brand, you will said that you have eaten MAGGI for lunch...Good job, Maggi!
3. Pampers - You will said that you need to buy PAMPERS for your baby, instead diapers.
4. Nescafe - The famous coffee brand
5. Milo - Even if you are drinking other brand's chocolate malt, you will have to say that you are drinking Milo.
6. KFC - Children simply says "I want KFC!" Even it's only a normal fried chicken they saw.

Super Stroller Vs Cheap Ass Stroller
You are walking at the shopping complex, playing with your kids, do the window shopping thing, everything goes smoothly, until you bumped into other mom with her gigantic, expensive super stroller. Your eyes will not blink even once until that RM5000 stroller is out of your sight. You adore the amazingly crafted design, super high chair for the child and mother comforts, the hi tech specs and the most important thing, the brand.
What is the downside of your cheap stroller? Nothing wrong with your RM200 stroller, it is just a matter of wealthy symbol status( in a domestic kind of way). This new age of living, a stroller is like a handbag to all moms and a car to dads out there. The bigger the better. The highly branded, the best! When those super stroller pass by you at the shopping mall, they left you with an empty feeling, angry because you can't afford to have it and envy of the person who owned it.
Imagine that you have the all-moms-wanted super stroller. You push your child along the passageway at the shopping complex, you bumped into other mom's stroller, with a RM5000 shiny stroller, you will smile with confidence ( for other moms, they will call it a boast). Just like a handbag, you need not say much about the brand. As soon as other moms could read the brand that stated on your super stroller, everyone knows who won on that passageway. Its like a stroller's brand competition. You cannot and will not able to change that the urge to compete with the stroller's brand while on the roads or malls.
Living in this everything-is-expensive era, with a paycheck that amount less than RM5000 per month for example, of course you cannot afford to have such super stroller for your kids. Groceries and clothes are way more important than to have a branded super stroller. By the end of the day, it is just a chair with wheels that you need to push your child around the places. When your children grow up, that super stroller will be left behind just like other cheap stroller. Nothing is different between them.
You just have to put that envy away from your thought and chin up with your humble stroller. Trust me, your kids did not even realised the difference between a super stroller or a cheap stroller that they are sitting on the moment you push them. Its you that makes the kids life valuable, not the brands that you have given them.

Killer Heels
Is it worth it if you are slowly killing your backbones? Wearing high heels regularly changes your posture and can have an effect on your joints, as well as your muscles. Here are three joints that are affected by wearing high heels.

- The Metatarsal Joint - The metatarsal joint is located in the ball of your foot. Wearing high heels regularly can cause pain in this joint, a condition known as metatarsalgia.
- The Knees - High heels are well known for causing knee pain and can even lead to osteoarthritis in the knee.
- Joints of the Spine - The normal s-curve shape of the back acts as a shock absorber, reducing reduce stress on the vertebrae. Wearing high heels causes lumbar (low-back) spine flattening and a posterior (backward) displacement of the head and thoracic (mid-back) spine. High heel shoes cause you to lean forward and the body's response to that is to decrease the forward curve of your lower back to help keep you in line. Poor alignment may lead to muscle overuse and back pain.

Ipads for your kids??
It's dinner time and you are struggling to prepare for dinner and your kids are running here and there through out the house. You have 2 choices. The first choice : You ask the kids (maybe shout a little) to sit down and play their toys or do some colouring or whatever except running as it is dangerous because they might knock on things or they might fell down or bump into things and get hurt. The second choice : You give them an Ipad. You do not have to ask them what to do with it. They KNOW what to do with an Ipad. Trust me.
For a more conservative parents, they tend to choose the first choice to control their children. For modern and gadget believer parents, an Ipad is like their best friend to control their kids. Lets talk more about this, shall we?
When you tend to choose Ipad to pacify your whining kids when you are about to eat dinner or the kids are just too noisy when you are about to have a quiet time, lazying around the sofa after tiring day at work, did you realised that all that missing is the bonding between parents and children. The moment you pass an Ipad to the children to control them, the communication just stop right there. The parents enjoy their time, the children is busy playing with their Ipad. Where's the personal touch? Please do not blame the kids when they spend less time with you when they have grow up as you are the one who trigger that particular problem.
I am not an Ipad nemesis as I love Ipads! I will give my kids to play an Ipad maybe twice a week for 30 minutes a session. What i concern is a one little child or a baby is given an Ipad by the parents just to make them calm and quiet. Due to different characteristics family background of the children, in some cases there will be addiction. Children may become dependent on Ipad so that they may depressed if someone take away their Ipads. Another likely psychological problem is autism. The more time they spend on Ipad,the less they'll have with family and friends. Childhood is the most important period to practice how to communicate with and care for others. They may not be autistic in the end but their communication skills may be very poor.
Being a gadget fan and a believer is not a crime but in matter of raising a child, let's back to basics. Watch and learn from our mother what she has taught us on the good old days. Look how well we turned out now and there must be a hack of great and fun ways to raise our kids without let the technology takes control on our children.

The Most Expensive Job Ever!!
Living in this new era has put us on a materialistic position. When people asked, what did you do for living? Some people answered proudly " I'm a manager", "I'm an accountant", "I'm a model" or even "I'm an actress". You think you deserve to get that standing ovation of becoming these position? Naah.. There is one position yet to receive any award or appreciation. The position is the most demanding and honestly the most expensive position (you can't even afford to pay to the person).
Who do you shout if you lost things and need help to find it? Of course, the homemaker again. Who wakes you up in the morning? When you need to wake up to go to work or school? It's the homemaker again! Who will prepare food for you? You should able to answer that, of course.
When people goes to work 8am to 6pm everyday (some of us 8am till midnight) and getting a paycheck as low as RM3000 per month, while the homemakers is a free and love-based job.
Some of us whining that we are tired of doing work at the office from morning till night but do you realised that the homemakers' job started as soon as she wakes up (and wakes you up) even when you sleeps, these homemaker still doing her job to keep everything is ready for the next day.
Try to peek your wife aka the lovable homemaker once in a while, what did she do when you are asleep. She's ironing, removing scraps from the dishes and any other things that you do not realised what she has to do in your house.
Just bare in mind that the house did not shines and sparkles on itself.
To people out there, this is the most expensive job you cannot afford to pay. The position is the Homemaker aka the lovable housewife aka mother aka teacher of the children aka your manager aka finance advisor aka lover.
Even its the most expensive job in the world and you could not even afford to pay them, all you need to do is love them as they love you most all the time. To all homemaker in the world, Happy Mothers Day! Please cherish your wife and mother while they are still alive.

forgive and forget
Is it easy to forgive and forget? For me? Nope. Everytime I tried to forgive somebody about something, I tended to remember how hurt that I felt when that exact incident or thing happened. I tried to forget and throw away that heartache that I felt. I am trying, really hard.
How can I forgive and forget? I wanted to be a noble woman. I am not a child anymore. I am a mother of 2. I must forgive and forget.

I went out to IPC last Sunday. I discover a piece of tiny macaron is RM3.90!! #$%^! for a tiny piece of that thing? I am soooo going to learn and bake my own macarons. Why is it so expensive?
